Accredited and Approved

The Annenberg School of Nursing is approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT). We are accredited by the national accrediting body Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).

Annenberg School of Nursing is a private institution approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) www.bppe.ca.gov.  Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.  To review our  most recent report for BPPE, click here.

     BVNPT:      August 1, 2011 to July 31, 2023
     ABHES:      December 17, 2010 to February 28, 2027
     BPPE:      Vocational Nursing Program approved March 15, 2007 to February 28, 2022
     Nursing Assistant Program approved August 21, 2012 to February 28, 2022
     Home Health Aid approved June 26, 2013 to February 28, 2022
