The Dietary Clerk’s responsibilities are but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Process diet orders and diet changes in appropriate software.  
• Accurately processes all necessary paperwork, deliveries, such as invoices, packages, packing slips, etc.  
• Maintain all resident diet information, preferences and tray tickets information. Keep information current.
• Answer telephone, takes messages and relay information as needed.
• Print tray tickets, food production sheets and beverage production sheets.
• Daily creating and printing meal tickets
• Update and print special diet tickets
• Maintain resident seating charts for each required location.
• Print and distribute recipes, menus and diet listings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Create forms, flyers, etc. as directed to help with department management and communication.
• Demonstrate knowledge of kosher dietary laws.
• Fills in and works on the floor as needed to cover shifts.
• Other duties as required.

Experience:

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
